Trauma
Religious Trauma
In many societies, religion becomes a means to judge and condemn others, which creates fear and shame in people. They experience rejection. In other situations, people feel that they are never good enough before God and that God is angry with them. They condemn themselves. Both, outward and inward condemnation, result in inner pain, isolation, and deep stress. Jesus offers healing. There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ. On the cross, Jesus took the condemnation of sin upon Himself. When a person looks to Jesus in faith, he / she is freed from both outward and inward condemnation.
