The Healing of the Canaanite Woman’s Daughter

1 h · Episode 13 Dari

We all have desires and requests or needs in life that we cannot fulfil ourselves. When a child is sick or has a problem, the child's needs are the only wish of the parents. The Canaanite woman had heard that Jesus healed the Gentiles, so she said to him, "Have mercy on me." But this woman had to overcome several obstacles to reach Jesus Christ. This woman was not a Jew, and the Jews considered other nations like pigs and did not value them as human beings. This woman had to cross the gender barrier because women in Jewish culture did not have equal rights and equal value with men. But how did this woman manage to overcome all these obstacles and reach Jesus Christ? First, she had heard that Jesus Christ had the power to heal and second she had faith that Jesus Christ could listen to her need and heal her daughter.
Today, women and people in Afghanistan face many obstacles, but with faith in Jesus Christ, they can convey their needs and requests to Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ is alive and he is the only healer.
